Despite the Covid-Pandemic our Q11-P-Seminar “40 years of German-Irish-Exchanges” is in the midst of creating a bilingual eBook documentary on the links between St. Kilian’s Community School and MGG.
Needless to say, we were thrilled to have David Grant as an interview partner in our course this week. As a former St. Kilian’s-student who spent his German exchange with an MGG-family from Wittighausen in 1987 and who now works as Chief Executive at Irish College Leuven in Belgium, Mr. Grant was our ideal guest to talk to about his personal and his hometown’s links with the MGG, Wuerzburg and the European Union.
David is part of a delegation that is currently visiting Wuerzburg to celebrate 20+2 years of twinning between Wuerzburg and Bray / County Wicklow. Thank you so much for taking the time to share some memories and giving interesting insights into life in Ireland and work life within the EU-quarter!
